[Koha] problem regarding Net::Z3950::ZOOM 1.25 installation

I received similar errors when installing Net::Z3950::ZOOM on Ubuntu;
all of the errors seemed to be the connections to indexdata failing so I
forced the installation and my Z3950 works fine.

Dear List,
I am using ubuntu 8.04 for koha 3 installation.
I am getting error during installation of Net::Z3950::Zoom installation
showing only 43.96% okay.
I am accessing internet through proxy server, due to this I am getting
the error or there may be another cause .
How to overcome from this problem?
I am trying to install this modules since last 3 months, but I am not
getting.
Am I missing some prerequisite perl module prior to installation of 
Z3950::ZOOM ?
which specific yaz client is needed for Net::Z3950::ZOOM installtion?

I follow the following wiki for installation of yaz, zebra etc.

Please help me to get rid of this problem.....
