[Koha] biblio.pm error

Hi All,
I've just gone to log back into the admin end of my Koha and got this  
message"

Software error:
Can't call method "fields" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/ 
lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 1587.
CGI::Carp

This is reflected in the apache error log, ie "additem.pl : Can't  
call..."

I'm guessing that koha is attempting to take me back to the screen I  
was on last, failing and giving up.

Does anyone know what has happened, other than some file has corrupted?
