I'll ask some of our 2.2.9 users if we can generate a patch from them.
I know about http://serene.ttllp.co.uk/~mjr/barcodefix.patch but I
don't remember what else is needed.  I also don't know which
repository is official for 2.2.x - Git or CVS?
