[Koha] OPAC Error

Hi, 
I am using koha2.2.9 on Debian etch. My OPAC users can login if there are no issues in their name. If there are any, the script opac-user.pl fails and asks for download. I have checked the permissions-its correct. Also the log says "unexpected end of script". Please tell me, what is the reason for the problem.
