[Koha] A sad situation

Hi

Are you able to upgrade to Fedora 7, fedora 8 or fedora9? Koha 3 will
install on these, although with some difficulties.

If you cannot upgrade passed fedora 4, you may be able to upgrade mysql to
version 5.

The major problem with installation of koha on fedora/redhat systems is
getting all of the needed perl modules. These can be done by hand and
individually by using yum, or cpan. Use the list in the install.perl,
although there are some dependencies not listed there. Note the version of
perl-icu. You must use the version stated. This is causing me some
problems with automatic upgrades on my fedora 8 system, but the latest
version will not work.

If you need further help with this, just re-post to the list.

Regards
Ken
