Hi, All:
We're a small rural public library automating for the first time with
Koha/ LibLime and we're looking for advice on your favorite sources
for copy cataloging. We have quite a backlog of uncataloged items to
get through.
Koha's default search targets for us are FirstSearch WorldCat, LOC,
New York University, New York Public Library, Columbia, & the
Smithsonian Institution.
Anyone have opinions, strong or otherwise, about their relative
merits, or suggestions for alternative preferred servers?
Many thanks,
Cab Vinton

Hi
I'm david and I want to know some details about the self check in and self
check out of the Koha 3.0 version
because we are very interested to acquire a product from 3M, this product
allows selfcheck, and I need to know if Koha 3.0 will work without any
problem with the 3M product, and if it does not, what could I do? I tell you
this, because Koha 3.0 has the self check option.
Thank you
David

Believe it or not, I get this same error when I try to run
rebuild_unimarc_100.pl. Is it a MARC::Charset::Table problem?

Here I am again - this seems like it should be an easy logical thing, but I
can't figure out where or how to accomplish this!
Steps please? I'm running 3.0.0.99
I don't see a button or anything in the item edit.. Where should I be
looking. I DON'T have Biblio's install "yet!"

You can put the item information into a 952 format specified by Koha and
have
it load items.

Koha has been successfully tested with the 3M SelfCheck emulator.
It is not magic though, so you still have one problem: you have to integrate
their product like you would with anything and you have to configure Koha.
I will be expanding the documentation for SIP very soon so that the
configuration steps are more clear.
