[Koha] KUDOS and IRC channel--question

Koha User Group (KUDOS),

It's been recommended to use an IRC 
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IRC>for our virtual meetings.  Now the 
question becomes, should we use the Koha IRC 
<http://www.koha.org/community/irc.html>or have one dedicated to KUDOS?  
I can create one on Freenode 
<http://freenode.net/group_registration.shtml> and would require, I 
believe, a download of the IRC client.

Which way should we go?
