[Koha] New Tutorial: Installing Koha on Ubuntu

I've posted an a fairly extensive guide for installing Koha 3.0 on Ubuntu
8.10. I hope some of you find it helpful. 

 

The guide assumes you're comfortable with technology but don't have
experience with Linux or Koha. It begins with Ubuntu installation then walks
through LAMP configuration, Koha installation, troubleshooting the
installation process, and setting up sample data for testing. It ends with a
reflection on some issues to consider before attempting a live Koha
implementation. 

 

The result won't be a production system, but a test system to help you to
understand and evaluate Koha.
