You need the new version avaiable at ftp.indexdata.dk 

I managed to install the sarge-version adding following the guidelines of 
Joshua Ferraro at 
http://www.kohadocs.org/Installing_Koha_on_Debian_sarge.html 

You must be familiar with apt-get and its friends to do so.
