[Koha] Help! Error creating a new non-marc record

hi,
  
  I just installed koha on windows.
  When I go to add my first book into the catalog (I've enabled non-marc)  , I get the following error in the log (500 internal server error)

  The file acquisitions-bottom.inc is definitely there where it is supposed to be.
  
  can someone help me in identifying what the problem is!
  I am new to koha & installed it just 30 minutes back & have run into this problem.
