[Koha] Help for Koha & cataloging newbie

Dear Friends:
         Today, I installed Koha on a computer running Windows XP at my school to be used as an evaluation platform for the rest of the school year.  Since I followed the directions, the install went without a problem.
         I am having some difficulty in the parameter setup, however.  I tried using the information at www.kohadocs.org, but I don't really understand the total ins and outs of MARC.  When I ran the MARC Check, I had one (1) error.
        It was in the item fields test-I was told that all item fields must be mapped to the same tag and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab.  I have very little experience in MARC and wonder if anyone out there has some suggestions I can try when I get into school.
