hm. our koha works on 2 servers (soon on 3)
BG - Pentium 4 3 Ghz 1MB/800 Mhz, 1.5GB mem - KOHA cgi, mails, www pages, samba
and others services
KOHA - Pentium 4 2,6 Ghz, 1.5 GB mem, SCSI 4x36GB - mysql databases

soon :
TerminalServer - Dual-Core Xeon 5110 1.60GHz 4MB 1066MHz x2, 2GB mem,
SAS 73GBx2 - database replication, low balancing KOHA<->MySQL,
and workers terminals (about 15)

Connection: BG<->KOHA<->TerminalServer (100Mbits)
soon exclusive direct: BG<->KOHA<->TerminalServer (1Gbits)

Borrowers: 20,000
Records: 9000main catalogue (soon after conversion 200,000),
other databases (Teology, CIDE, etc.): 7000+32000+13212+500+5000+300 :)

hm. we using Koha 2.2.4 with strong modification.
You can have problems with original Koha (experience with 2.2.4!)
sooner or later with this size of yours database in usage (not mysql problem!).
