[Koha] Koha and e-books

Hi,

I would like to use Koha to classify e-books and make them available to 
selected users (possibly with password and/or IP restriction).

I am aware this amounts to two questions, with possible independent 
answers to each of them, but I look forward to your feedback on either of 
them.

P.S. More generally, by e-books I mean a largish collection of PDF and 
other multimedia files.
