Yes it will

If the borrower logs in they can see their own reserves, and if a 
librarian goes and checks the borrower record they can see the reserves 
as well - but that's not in circulation, that;s in borrowers.

In circulation when an item that has been reserverd is returns it flags 
the librarian so they can set it aside.

If the item gets to the point where someone else is being issued it, it 
will flag then as well, so that the librarian can either not issue it, 
or tell the borrower that they need to bring it back quickly.

If you allow renewals in your library, if an item has been reserved the 
person who has it isn't allowed to renew it
