[Koha] survey of the client side

Hello all, is anyone using version 4 browsers? How many of you are
using old donated computers for koha clients? Has anyone (in this very
international community) heard of the (US-only afaik) CueCat barcode
reader?

I'm updating my client-side ECMAScript CueCat support to work with
Koha 2.2, and trying to write it elegantly, but version-4 browsers
don't support some language features I need in their ECMAScript
(JavaScript, JScript) implementations.

As a side note, it's quite challenging because there is nearly no
documentation or discussion on how to write ECMAScript elegantly.
Python people talk about whether things are Pythonic, Ruby people talk
about whether it's The Ruby Way, JavaScript people talk about whether
it works and who they copied it from. :P
