This does not affect GNU/Linux systems, which I think most
developers use. So, it took a while to track down and test.

This error may be because no-one has ported the 2.0.x bugfixes
to 2.2.x yet - I am now doing it, so I hope it will be fixed in
the next 2.2.x release for you.
