[Koha] Bar code scanners

Hello...We are just beginning to explore installing Koha as our ILS. 
(Currently we have none.) We are running a Linux network, affiliated 
with the K12LTSP project (www.k12ltsp.org).  I'm wondering about bar 
code scanners and bar codes.  Are there any scanners that you know work 
with Koha?  We want to buy the most economical obviously, but want it to 
work, and most of them appear to be plug and play.  Any suggestions?
