<p>You can export records without item records, just not by specifying an item type. You have to use a different criterion, or, as I do, export all records and filter out the records I don't care about. I am sure it would be possible to add an option "select only records with no items," if someone were interested in sponsoring such a development.</p>

My experience certainly bears out that it can't be done.It's<br>
frustrating that you can't export records that don't have items. Is<br>
there good reason why it would be set up that way? As more oddball<br>
collections like ours adopt Koha there may be more demand for the<br>
ability to export them. Or, set up some sort of batch edit for<br>
biblios within Koha. I think the first option is probably simpler!<br>
At any rate, there were only (!) 74 of them so I did them individually.Elaine<br>
