You can test it here :
using css only is quite interesting because :
- easy to maintain
But
less smoothly integrated in the mobile phone.
requires internet connection.
I think Item types are the best way to manage this rather than a different branch. That way you can configure the borrowing rules by item type and member type to make that as rigid or flexible as you need.

That aside, thanks to the worldwide Koha list I have found a fellow Koha library just down the road!
We are struggling to understand the way individual branches work. We would like to create an independent branch to issue laptops to students (and departmental resources later) which will not be affected by how many library books students have overdue. I have tried setting circulation rules in the laptop issues branch to be completely different to those in our library but this has not worked. Are we able to define differing borrow rules for the same patron at different libraries. Could someone direct me to more complete instructions on how the overdues systems work or how circulation rules work.

We are still using 3.2 but will be migrating to 3.6 in the New Year.
Hi Rachel,

1. Setting notices up to run is part of a cron job. Can't answer anymore there as Catalyst look after those for us.

2. As to adding the due date to notices. For the advance ones we don't include it, the notice just says 'due soon'. For the overdue notices, adding <<items.content>> into the appropriate place in the notice template should cover what you need. For us, that produces Due Date - Title - Barcode - Author for each item due.

Hope that helps.
Subject: [Koha] setting up predue notices

Hi there,

1. Can anyone help me please to set up notices warning borrowers that items are nearly due. I see a predue notice in the notices list but can't find how to set up when it goes out.
2. Also, I would like to know how to insert the due date into this notice and the overdue notices. It does not appear in the list of fields available.

I have scoured the manual but have not been able to find either item. What am I doing wrong?

We are running Version 3.02.00.004

Many thanks,
