I forgot something, maybe emptying the zebra database works better, since I am not at the library right now I am doing this from memory, go to debian.INSTALL and search for zebradb, or iso2709 it is I believe, it is almost at the bottom of the document, run these commands for biblios and authorities first, then do a rebuild_zebra.pl

I had exactly the same error message.
I had imported a batch of MARC records using Staged MARC management.
Searches worked ok. Then I undid the import and started getting the error on
a search in the OPAC:
Can't call method "as_usmarc" on an undefined value at
/usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 2384.

I wasn't using Zebra. If switched Zebra on then I get: No Result found! No
results match your search for “kw,wrdl: Wright ” in WTC Library Catalog.

Have tried a rebuild of Zebra, but no good.
Also had tried the clear index from

Any suggestions?
