<font size=3> I'm definitely still learning, but in the beginning I
interlibrary loaned as many SQL books as possible and then purchased the
ones that had helped me (I was starting from scratch)<br><br>
The titles I now have in my office are
<ul>
<li>Head First SQL
<li>Beginning SQL queries
<li>SQL fundamentals
<li>SQL queries for mere mortals
</ul>They all give me different things. I also use google searches for
various SQL training materials.<br><br>
And I attended KohaCon 2009 and heard at least one of the sessions
there.<br><br>
I also use the SQL Reports Library
(<a href="http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library" eudora="autourl">
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library</a>) and ask on
the mailing lists.<br><br>

old reports on Koha and had a couple of questions.<br>
<br>
First, for those of you writing your own SQL reports, what do you
recommend for someone's who's learning SQL? I've picked up <u>Teach
Yourself SQL in 10 Minutes</u> and SQL for Dummies and I've found the
Koha reports library but are there other materials/websites you'd
recommend? Did you go to any formal training and was it
useful?<br><br>
Second, is anyone using a third-party product like Crystal Reports and,
if so, what are you using it for? We've got some reports that might
need something more than just SQL and I'm wondering what other people are
using.<br><br>
If you could let me know or point me in the right direction, I'd
appreciate it!<br><br>
Thanks<br>
