<font size=3>We have used a similar method of assigning the
"unique" four digits to members in our consortium also. Instead
of the the last four digits of the SAN, we have used the last four digits
of the communities zipcode.<br><br>
This works when you have a group made up of individual communities with
unique zipcodes, rather than what may happen in a more urban setting. It
also makes it easier for the librarians to spot their own materials
because they recognize the zipcode!<br><br>
