Dear Friends,

Day by day ( with new releases) Koha package getting bulkier.

It takes too much time for download and installation.

It is essential to release a light weightversion along with main
release.

Light weight does not mean Koha with less features, light in terms
of size.

In my knowledge templates of various languages make Koha big.

Light weight version can include three or four main language
templates (e.g. English, French etc).

I would like to hear from developers and users about the
possibility of a Koha light version.

the best solution, and that's what we expect to be able to do in 3.4,
would be to install languages on the fly, at librarian request. So only
the english version, with all languages po files would have to be
shipped.
