Hi Inock,<br><br>I'm forwarding your request to the Koha user's mailing list as there may be others with helpful suggestions there.<br><br>I am not a librarian myself. What I have learned about ILS and cataloging, etc. has been learned from the librarians here, the Internet, and the many helpful folks on the lists and #koha (irc). I would suggest starting with the latter two sources.<br>

Our college library is using Koha Opensource ILS, courtesy of a missionary faculty member who is thoroughly skilled in IT, but is not a librarian himself. My desire is to be trained in library technologies, so that I can be able to attend to glitches that come up on Koha from time to time. I was thinking of seeking an attachment/internship position for a specified period of time to a library using koha. Or enrolling for an IT short course relevant to equip me to handle Integrated library Systems with confidence. The problem is that there are many IT courses on offer and I am not quite sure as to the one most benefiary to meet my needs. Can you kindly advise how I can manoeuvre in order to get the exposure I require to use Koha competently? I am 41yrs old and in possession of a first degree in Information Science from the University of South Africa. Our library is the only one using Koha in Zimbabwe, so far.<br>
