Hi Chris,

I'd like to see if these errors go away when you upgrade. 3.0.5 will be released in a few days. It may be good to wait until then to upgrade. If similar errors occur after the upgrade, send me a new log output, and I'll look at it again.

I still have not had time to send off the patch for the splitting issue, but hope to next week sometime.

Your tech guys are correct: Koha is not packaged (ie. rpm, deb, etc) atm. However, they should be able to run 'perl Makefile.PL --prev-install-log /path/to/koha-install-log' and then 'make upgrade' to get there.
Hey Chris

Our tech people were able to find several error reports that had been generated. I've attached them as it may be a bit much to list here. Beyond that, we are still working on upgrading (our guys were saying something about it not being packaged?!? I haven't looked at it myself yet).

I also tried Agnes' solution, but alas, no luck there, either.

As always, thanks again.

On Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 8:52 PM, Chris Nighswonger <cnighswonger@foundations.edu> wrote:

Looking at your LCCN call number format: 'BV 4501.2 .L82 1991' it
appears your catalogers insert a space which the algorithm does not
anticipate between 'BV' and '4501.2.'

The fix is trivial and I'll submit a patch for it in the next few days.

Great as it is not clear why the bibs are not printing correctly.
