Hi Chris<br><br>It happened again: made a fool of myself :-P<br><br>Looks like the importer needs UTF8 marc which somehow wasn't enabled in bookwhere. The items aren't added and the unimport feature doesn't work but these aren't crucial.<br>
<br>The SQL nitpicks I was mentionning are in ImportBatch.pl (sorry about the confusion) where import_record_id would fail - replacing with import_records.import_record_id did the trick, though.<br><br>Thanks for your help with that - it motivated me to fiddle around some more until I stumble across the solution. With that, the next step is mass-import and production. <br>

</div>I am assuming that you have tried to run a file from bookwhere through<br>
<a href="http://bulkmarcimport.pl" target="_blank">bulkmarcimport.pl</a> and have success. But the same file will not import<br>
via the staff-client marc import tool.<br>

</div>Silent fails are particularly hard to troubleshoot and the<br>
staff-client marc import tool fails silently.<br>
<br>
One thing that will make it fail is if the branch code contained in<br>
items attached to a bib is none existent. I believe the field is 952$a<br>
in a default Koha installation.<br>
