<DIV>Koha may be the answer to our need for an online database for a <SPAN id=lw_1254775191_0 class=yshortcuts>small community public library</SPAN> on Skopelos Island in <SPAN id=lw_1254775191_1 class=yshortcuts>Greece</SPAN>. I live in the <SPAN id=lw_1254775191_2 class=yshortcuts>San Francisco Bay Area</SPAN>, but travel to <SPAN id=lw_1254775191_3 class=yshortcuts>the Island</SPAN> often and have been helping a group of local visionaries create local <SPAN id=lw_1254775191_4 class=yshortcuts>public libraries</SPAN> in Greece. I will return with more books and computers in December to begin to catalogue the collection in the Glossa/Skopelos Public Library, and to create a searchable database and online library access, as well as setup free internet acess on site. The programs we create must be available in both English and Greek, and it looks like this site will make that possible. We are excited to find something to
fit our needs ... and being free makes all our volunteer hours worthwhile! Thank you.
