The implementation for "targeted" payments was buggy and error-prone, at best, mainly because there was no unique key on the accountlines table. It resorted to an imprecise and slow subqueries try to generate the desired effect, and it wouldn't scale. So for now you can only pay against your balance.<br>

:( Nope it doesn't work. I owed $14 on one item and I went to manual<br>
credit and put in 10 for a partial payment. It subtracted 10 from my<br>
total - but not from what I owe on that one item. Also instead of the<br>
barcode it shows the bib number on the account history - which I think<br>
I reported a bug about. See attached.<br>
