<br>If you wish to reinstall Koha but keep your cataloged records ( and you are okay with losing<br>circulation data ), your best bet is to export via Tools -> Export bibliographic and holdings data,<br>then import into a fresh installation using the Stage MARC Record import tools.<br>
Note that you will have to have your branch codes defined as well as authorized values <br>for item status fields.<br><br>If you only want to reset the system preferences, they are contained in a sql file<br>in the installer directory of your installation<br>
(after backing up your database ( with mysqldump --single-transaction *) ),<br>access the mysql client and issue the sql statement:<br>delete from systempreferences;<br>then from the commandline, reinstall the default systempreferences:<br>
mysql -uKOHAUSER -pKOHAPASSWD kohadbname < KOHAROOT/installer/data/mysql/en/mandatory/sysprefs.sql<br><br> * Do note that when using mysqldump to back up Koha's innodb tables, you should use the --single-transaction flag to ensure data consistency across tables.<br>
