[Koha] Call for proposals to host KohaCon27

Dear Koha Community,

Happy New Year to each of you!

As 2026 gets underway, it’s already time to start looking ahead to 
KohaCon27. Each KohaCon is made possible thanks to organizations willing 
to welcome the community and coordinate the event, with the support and 
experience of the wider Koha community.

The call for proposals to host KohaCon27 is now open. The proposal 
period will run until *15 March 2026 at 23:59 UTC*.

If your organization is interested in hosting KohaCon in 2027, please 
add your proposal to the following wiki page, which outlines the 
required information and hosting guidelines: 
https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/KohaCon27_Proposals

In accordance with the continent rotation rules, organizations from the 
following continents are eligible to submit a proposal:

  * Africa
  * Asia
  * North America
  * South America

If more than one eligible proposal is received, a community vote will be 
organized after the submission deadline.

If you have been considering hosting a future KohaCon, we warmly 
encourage you to submit a proposal and start the conversation. We look 
forward to discovering your ideas and locations!
