[Koha] MARC field 008, subfield 33 set to "no fiction" by default

Hi.

When I am cataloguing a new book record, the subfield 33 (literary form) of the 008 field is automatically set to 0 (no fiction). I would like to set the default to | (not used). I have got a custom framework that I am using for cataloguing, but I cannot find out how to customize the settings of the 008 field, as there are no subfields that can be customized. I can see that the field is using a plugin, marc21_field_008.pl. Do I have to change the setting in the plugin? If so, how do I do that?
