[Koha] Different rules for borrowers from different libraries based on library

Hi folks

We're exploring setting up circulation rules for different branches where borrowers from library A can borrow items from both library A and library B but borrowers from library B can only borrow items from library B. The only way I can think of it that will work would be to have item-type based rules in place (where borrowers from library B can borrow only items of type "LibraryBItems" but borrowers from library A can borrow items of type "LibraryAItems" and LibraryBItems") but is there some way to base these rules on the branch itself (without setting up different itypes for both branches)?

We're on version 20.05.
