[Koha] SYSTEM UNDER MAINTENANCE NO MATTER WHAT?

I have installed KOHA from a LIVE-DVD. I have run koha-rebuild-zebra -v -f library. On the server my collection can be queried. But when longing in remotely, using my local network, or an outside connection, I get the message the system is down for maintenance. I am at a loss as to what to do next?
Any help would be appreciated.
