Hello,

1. Please verify firewall is enabled or disabled for your machine's IP
address.
2. Next, You could check for "mail log"  to the know exact status.

*# tail -f /var/log/mail.log*
*# mialq*

firewall was blocked, and because of this reason, status = deferred was
appeared in mail log.
