[Koha] How to get use of asort1 and asort2?

Dear All,
How to get use of asort1 and asort2? i entered value in authorized values
field for that under asort1 and asort2 but it does not reflect in book data
entry under statistics1 and statistics2, however, bsort1 and bsort2 values
reflect as drop down under the patron data entry field. Koha version
16.11.07 on debian jessie.
