Hi Katrin,
Hope I find you well. You are a life-saver! I used sort1 field and use the bsort1 authorised value categories to create the Grade categories. Thank you very much. My only small problem is to change the label "Sort 1" on the patron entry page to "Grade" so as to make the system more user friendly at the expense of upgrades, of course!
Otherwise your solution worked perfectly well for me.

Hi,
some things to check here:
- Circulation conditions: check the rule that applies from the 'all libraries' page and the more specific rule for the library. What is the loan period set to? Has a hard due date been set?
- Patron account expiry: is it possible the patron account is about to expire?

Hi Admire,
from looking at the patron card help page, I think it's not possible to print additional patron attributes at the moment.
Maybe a workaround could be to use one of the statistic fields on the patron record for storing the information about the grade instead. Those fields can be turned into pull downs using the bsort1 and bsort2 authorised value categories.

+1 for that suggestion.
Maybe an idea for a workaround: Create a repeatable extended patron
attribute for storing previous cardnumbers. This will require manually
filling out the field the same time the cardnumber is changed, but maybe
would be easier to handle than using one of the notes fields.
