[Koha] Managing digital subscriptions

Hi Doug,

at the moment Koha can't control access to files depending on log in,
IP, or similar.

You could make the bibliographic records only visible when accessed from
an IP within the library, but the users could e-mail themselves the
records with the URLs.

So I think you really want to control who is able to access the files
outside of Koha.

Hope this helps,

For copyright reasons I don't think we can just download this file then link to it using the 856u field as that would make it downloadable by anyone. I looked through the manual but didn't find anything to address this. I believe the ideal situation is for the document to be viewable at a workstation inside the library, but not through the public OPAC.
