I think the bug tracker (http://bugs.koha-community.org/) would be a
place to consider writing this up, as your results show that there is
apparently a performance issue if the patron expiration occurs far in
the future -- and using such a date is a relatively common way to
represent an indefinite expiration of a patron's privileges.
