[Koha] Deleting journal issues

Hi everyone,

I am new with Koha and I have been trying to delete journal issues/items. (I can not find this option in Koha manual)
I used Edit serials - and chosen status delete. The journal issue was deleted but the next issue is immediately generated.
How can I delete issue without generation of a next issue?
I ended up with some issues which are way ahead and I can not delete them. They even have, as a status, expected option as the only option.
Koha version is 3.02
