I just did a 5.3 bib data extraction a few weeks ago. These steps did the
trick for me:
Make sure to use short report option.
Bib Data Extraction:
Select Materials > Export
Select All Materials from Export menu
All the options should gray-out except for the output file

USMARC/852 Holdings Data
Click Browse to desktop and in the Output file field, enter your desired
name.

I realize we are probably one of the oldest and last hold outs converting
from Spectrum 5.3 to a modern system. Anyone else convert from Spectrum to
Koha that could give me some tips on extracting the data, our reports and
exports just don't look like good usable data.
I have submitted and support ticket to Bywater, just thought I woul
d ask
the
community to see if anyone had any tips.
