Hi Bob,

thank you for your reply and sorry for my inexperience, I have just start to
use Koha.

I don't understand what do you mean when you say:

holds are placed on items that are currently (already) on loan
------

Only the books that are already loan by some user can be place on hold by
another user?
Is this correct? How can a user place a hold for a book that is already loan
by an other user?
