[Koha] Multiple item types which are really the same in advanced search options

Dear Cecil,

I don't think there is a way of doing what your asking for. I know you can search for different item types with the advanced search. As long as you have the item type within the administration -> Item Types and have items keyed to that item type, you should be able to search them by checking in the desired boxes. The only thing I can think of would be changing the items types to be the same, and if a separator of some sort is desired have a shelving location.

Hope that helps,

Subject: [Koha] Multiple item types which are really the same in advanced search options

Hello,

Is there a way to combine different item types in the advanced search options. We have to types of book items those that “float” and those that are always returned to their home branch. Other than that the circ rules are the same for both types of books.
