[Koha] Messy overdue notices

I've had several attempts at getting my list of overdue items to go on
separate lines but they still all run together in one block of text.

 

My SQL statement is:

 

<<borrowers.firstname>> <<borrowers.surname>> <<borrowers.email>>,

 

According to our records the following are now due for return:

 

<item> <<biblio.title>> / <<biblio.author>>. <<items.enumchron>>. Barcode:
<<items.barcode>> </item>

 

What am I doing wrong?
