[Koha] Lost and Billed problem

Hi everyone,
I am at a school district and the media specialists would like a way to bill
the replacement cost for an item when it is overdue for 30 days but still
have those items checked out to the patrons.  Is it possible to have an item
with the status lost and billed but still be checked out to the patron?
