[Koha] MySQL Server on separate machine

hi alll

i am going to install koha on production server.  is it possible to install
koha by using mysql database installed on a separate machine?  all databases
of my company on a separate server machine and my IT manager is not allowing
me to install mysql and koha on the same server.

can someone tell me method for this?
