Hello Dimple,

I recently installed LibLiveCD 1.2. I also have the older version of
LibLiveCD installed in the other machine. I want to export the DSpace
records (database) from the PostgreSQL from the older version of LibLiveCD
and want to import the records into the newer version of DSpace. I could not
logon to the database using postgres as username and password. Could you
please guide me how to export the DSpace database from the PostgreSQL
server?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.

Exactly we would like to implement RFID in our library with Koha.
Anyone is using Koha with RFID, any problems occurred during the
implementation.
Any additional software needed. Is it possible to create RFID tag using
Koha.
Tell me your experience.

So, Koha can use any laser jet printer, isn't it? How about the driver?

Koha uses the printer capability provided by the operating system.

On most GNU/Linux systems, the printing system is provided by a software
called Cups. If Cups supports your printer, yes, Koha will use that
printer to print barcodes.

Have you contacted the CUSAT library? They use Koha.

The NUALS too uses Koha, but that is yet to go online - they are
currently in the process of shifting their campus, (from Kaloor to near
HMT) and will be go online using Koha. NUALS uses barcode. I had done the
installation for them, and frankly, was shocked to see that they use
barcodes. I was expecting couple of days struggle to get the scanner and
whatever working. Too bad ... times are changing. :-D

No, I do not provide commercial support for Koha.

Hi

I'm trying to create some statistics, for example I want to have the number
of the search done today, I wrote this query.
select count(time) from search_history where year(time) = year(curdate())
AND month(time) = month(curdate()) AND DAY(time) = day(curdate());

My problem is... if the user do the login in the opac and then do a search
the table search_history is updated but if the user do a search without
login nothing is written in the database.

Any idea?

If you search for SIP or RFID in this list, you will see many RFID users
or implementors.
There are more than one way to do it but C4::SIP is meant for that.
It is a fork of openncip project... But hopefully, we shall eventually
merge all the stuff back in.
