Koha has two mechanisms for displaying MARC information:  XSLT, and 'normal' view.  Both can be applied to either staff side or OPAC, and to search results or detailed display, independently (a total of four system preferences).  These mechanisms, not the MARC Frameworks, control whether any given MARC field is visible in these areas.

If you are using Normal view, you have an option to help make these display:  Keyword to MARC mappings. If you're using XSLT, there is currently no option for adding these subfields without manually editing the XSLT.  ByWater Solutions is currently working to on a development which will allow libraries to upload their own XSLT, which will make these edits easier to implement and maintain.

Another mechanism to solve this issue would be to file a bug report at bugs.koha-community.org, laying out exactly what you'd like to see, including formatting and styling.  Any Koha developer would then be able to write a patch against this request, and submit it to the community for integration.

Hi,

We catalog our graphic novels  to be on separate records.  We use 245 n & p subfields to denote this in our current system.  The n’s an p’s are not showing up in Koha.  I have edited the frameworks hidden constraint to 0.  Is editing the frameworks the correct place to do this or is there some other place that needs to be changed?  The n’s and p’s do show when actually going in to the record to catalog but not in the regular results list on either the staff or opac.
