There is no need for anybody to login at the OPAC to search (unless you have turned on a system preference to make OPAC private) But they need to login to do stuffs like hold, renew, view fines etc.

Your librarians also should not use kohaadmin. Each should have their seperate login with required permission given at the staff client.
