I've implemented shorter URLs; e.g., the link to the IRC meetings page is now

http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/IRC_Meetings

I note that it was not necessary to drop the database; MediaWiki's database schema does not bake the URL prefix into its notion of a page.
