[Koha] Journal articles

There has been some discussion about analytic records on the list before,
but I'm not sure if anyone has done an implementation (please speak up if
you have!).

It seems to me that the key thing that needs to be done is linking the
analytic biblio record to it's "parent" record. The MARC21 77x fields are
designed to make those kind of links, but as of right now there is no
specific way to work them into your Koha OPAC aside from using the XSLT
display options.

I'm certainly interested in developing more integrated Koha support for
bibliographic record relationships, which would include not only analytic
records, but also FRBR relationships and any other kind of relationship the
library may need (it should be user-configurable). I think that kind of
additional tool would make things much easier for a lot of libraries.

Cheers,

-Ian
